An expert/consultant is sought to support the migration of financial and accounting systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. The role involves analysis, configuration, test support, and long-term system maintenance.

The position requires working within a team of experienced IT specialists (developers and analysts) and collaborating closely with accounting experts to optimize and implement modern system solutions. A Dynamics implementation partner is engaged to ensure the highest quality of project execution.

This is a long-term project, extending beyond the migration phase to include ongoing support and system maintenance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the migration, implementation, maintenance, and further development of the financial and accounting system (General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Gathering knowledge from the current system provider based on source code, documentation, and workshops/training sessions.
  • Conducting workshops with business users to gather requirements and expectations.
  • Creating and maintaining system documentation related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Assisting in the preparation of test plans and test scenarios for Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Coordinating the deployment and testing of changes in various development environments within Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Collaborating with analysts from other teams to plan dependencies and inter-system integrations.
  • Configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules to meet business requirements.
  • Engaging with the Dynamics 365 F&O implementation partner.
  • Supporting the resolution of technical issues related to Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Defining requirements for financial and management reports based on Dynamics 365 F&O, including for controlling purposes.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher education in IT or a technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an ERP Analyst/Consultant, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering, specification, and documentation for functional and non-functional needs, as well as identifying system assumptions and constraints.
  • Proficiency in SQL, enabling complex data analysis.
  • Experience working with financial and accounting systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O: understanding of system architecture and functionalities related to accounting, settlements, asset depreciation, and payment management in large organizations.
  • Ability to define algorithms using UML.
  • Familiarity with CASE tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and methodologies in Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly for the General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 F&O modules.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL stored procedures (Oracle database).
  • Experience in business process modeling using BPMN notation.
